Winnie Leblanc Adams

Winnie L. Adams, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, surrounded by family at the age of 102.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28th from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children: Earlis “Jay” Adams, Jr. (Sonia), Dale Denson, Mary Adams and Andrea Chase (Frank); son-in-law Danny Talbot; grandchildren, Danielle LeCompte (Matt), Krystie Richard (Chad), Mandi Adams, Todd Denson (Sherri), Melissa Porter (Les), David Denson (Melissa), Erika Falgout (Keith), Celeste Weidel, Amy Hebert, Renee Sampere (David), Jeremy Chase, Jacob Chase and Jonathan Chase; 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlis Adams, Sr.; parents Salvadore and Mary B. LeBlanc; daughter, Wylene Talbot; son, Chris Adams; granddaughter, Lori Naquin; great grandchildren, Camille and Braxton Hebert; son-in-law, M. Wayne Denson, Jr.; brother Philip, George, Luke, Paul and Charlie LeBlanc; sisters Valerie Allemand, Laura Chauvin, Alice Walker, Rita LeBlanc, Adele Uzee, Lucie Vegas and Elvire LeBlanc.
She was a strong, faith filled woman, a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and friends.
She was an honorary member of Msgr. Carroll A. Badeaux Lady Kaycee Auxiliary.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all those who expressed their love for her with their visits, cards, and phone calls. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice and caregivers for her care.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Savior Catholic Church.
