Willie John Duet

Willie John Duet, 73, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on June 4, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Wednesday, June 9th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m.

Willie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jenny Williams Duet; children, Willie Duet, Jr. (Carlene), Jessica Duet Beebe (Jacques), Caleb Duet and Francene Marra (Nick); grandchildren, Camryn Beebe, Aiden Beebe, Brandon Duet, Chloe Rose Marra and Jace Marra; brother, Donald Duet (Lena); niece, Marley Duet; nephew, Christopher Duet, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Eviola Duet.

Willie was a hard worker, employed by the Valentine Paper and Pulp Mill for 30 years. He had a jovial nature and loved to make people laugh. He will be remembered for his funny disposition and his love of people. His stories and pranks were unforgettable. He was also a man of great faith and loved to pray. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and especially his beloved grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
