William "Bill" Shadell, 91, a native of McAlester, OK and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 7:57 AM at his residence.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, November 21, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, James Shadell and wife Lucille; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Barrilleaux Shadell; son, Leroy Shadell; parents, William and Amy Verret Shadell; brother, Octave Shadell; sister, Hazel Sellers and 2 grandchildren.
