MONGRUE William J. Mongrue, Jr. on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Ormond Nursing Home, Destre-han, LA. Beloved son of the late William J. Mongrue, Sr. and loving mother Ernestine Marie Mongrue of Luling, LA. Survived by: a sister, Mrs. Sophie Braud (husband Allen Braud); two brothers: Kearney Mongrue (wife Jo-Ann) and Leo Mongrue (wife Barbara deceased). "Uncle Bro" to fifteen nephews and nieces. At the age of 85 passed to eternal life. A lifelong resident of Luling, LA, St. Anthony Catholic Church Parish, a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII and retired from Avondale Shipyards. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend on Wednesdsay, January 18, 2012, visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anthony Church, Luling, LA, with interment in St. Charles Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred. Arrangements entrusted to FALGOUT FUNERAL HOMES, INC., Raceland, LA, a division of the MOTHE group.
