William Joseph Borne

William Joseph Borne, 74, a native of Raceland and a resident of Bayou Blue, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Melinda Medeiros Borne, second wife, Kathy Boudreaux Borne; father, Clarence Borne, Sr.; mother, Josephine Dowouis Borne and brother-in-law he loved like a brother, Danny Joe Harris.
He is survived by his son, Randy Borne and five dearly loved grandchildren, Ranzly, Raylon, Aydyn, Aliya and Boogie. Also survived by his sister, Brenda Borne Harris and brother, Clarence Borne, Jr. (Debbie). William had numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a special friend, Mary Ordoyne.
He was loved like a brother by his sisters-in-law, Naomie, Marlene, Leilani and Mary and his brother-in-law, Barry Medeiros, (Jane deceased).
A memorial service will be held in his honor at First Baptist Church Thibodaux, 1021 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Celebration of Life ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm.
