Willa Fitch Babin Leco

Willa Marie Elizabeth Fitch Babin Leco, age 84, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. She was a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Patterson, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 20, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma, LA.

Willa is survived by her husband, Gregory Paul Leco; sons, Donald Babin, Jr. and wife, Jena, and David Babin; daughters, Charlene Lovell and companion, Griff, Cheryl Dehart and companion, Russell, Roxanne Lirette and husband, Guy, and Kelly Songy and companion, Todd; and 11 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Willa was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Donald James Babin, Sr.; parents, Alvin Jean Fitch and Angelle Trosclair Fitch; son, Anthony Babin; son-in-law, L.J. Lovell; brothers, Evans, Joseph, and Wilbert Fitch; sisters, Lillian Darcey, Vivian Verdin, Eva Marcel, and Wilma Labiche; and grandson, Adam Babin.

Willa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was known as the white bean queen. She was always the life of the party.
