Whitney Morris Scott, Jr., 71, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023. He was a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Gibson, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg on Thursday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.
Whitney is survived by his daughter, Chastity Scott Soudelier, and husband, Olin, Jr.; brother, Christopher Scott, Sr. and wife, Christine; sister, Sarah Scott Falgout and husband, Louis “Jim”; grandchildren, Austin Trahan, Hailey Champagne, Kristin Trahan, Emily Bartholomew, and Brandon May; great-grandchildren, Jayce, Ariella, and Weston Thomas, and Kaylani Diggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Whitney was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney Morris, Sr. and Lois Rita Roddy Scott; daughter, Melissa Scott; brothers, Wayne Scott, Ronnie Scott, Sr. and wife, Pat, and Craig Danos, Sr.
