Whitney J. Deroche Sr.

Whitney J. Deroche, Sr., 83, a native of Bourg and a resident of Houma, died on July 20, 2018.
Visitation will be from 6 PM until 10 PM on Monday, July 23 and from 8 AM until service time on Tuesday, July 24 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Fanguy Deroche; 4 children, Kenneth Deroche (Angela), Whitney Deroche, Jr. (Sandra), Tony Deroche (Robin), and Cassandra Dudas (Rich); 3 stepchildren, James Billiot, Jr., Brian Billiot (Alfredia), and Michelle Billiot (Ronald); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lucinia Deroche; and 5 siblings, Stella Hutchinson, Mildred Theriot, Josephine Schouest, Leonise Boudreaux, and Norman Deroche, Sr.
