Werly P. Gervais, 60, a native and resident of Raceland peacefully passed away on June 15, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan Pitre Gervais; mother Betty Gervais; son, Tory Gervais and wife Amy; daughter, Nikki G. Duplantis and husband Trent; 4 loving grandchildren, Cy Gervais, Lauren Gervais, Luke Gervais and Brynn Duplantis; brother, Jimmy Gervais and wife Lena; sisters, Tammy Knight and husband Patrick, Judith Bergeron and husband Thomas, Lynette Hartman and husband, Michael Steve.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin J. Gervais.
Werly was a dedicated employee of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. He loved hunting, fishing, outdoors and horseshoes. Werly was a great son, brother, husband, father and grandfather who loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
