Wendy Deroche Matthijetz

Wendy Deroche Matthijetz, 70, a native of Killona, LA and a resident of Hahnville, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Falgout (Shannon), Kenneth Matthijetz, Jr. (Meshell) and Laura Madere (fiancé Joe Freeze); brothers, Lawrence Deroche, Jr., Gerald Deroche, Sr. (Elaine).; Kenneth Deroche, Sr. (Lisa), Wayne Deroche; sister, Carol Falcon (Rodney); 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Deroche, Sr. and Grace Deroche; sister-in-law, Libby Deroche and brother-in-law, Errol Falcon.
