Weldon Joseph Lovell

Weldon Joseph Lovell, 76, a native of Dularge, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly LeBlanc Lovell; daughters, Jill Frickey (Kerry), Melanie Webre (Thomas); grandchildren, Bart Fanguy (Lauren), Derek Fanguy (Alicia), Amber Joy (Austin), Tyler Robert, Chase Plaisance, Zoe’ Webre and Katelynn Webre; great grandchildren, Jaiden, Alivia, Bryce, Hudson and Axel; brothers, Donald, Douglas and Tony Lovell; sisters, Brenda and Linda Lovell and his dog, Chopper. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Lovell and Elta Billiot; brother, Anthony Lovell Jr. and sisters, Carolyn, Veronica and Kathy Lovell.

Special thanks to the Neuro ICU staff of University Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers Masses are preferred.
