Walterine Dufrene Comardelle, 94, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, June 2, 2014 at First Assembly of God Church, Des Allemands, LA. Religious Service at 11:00 AM, Monday at First Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Mennonite Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
She is survived by her sons, Vernon "Butch" Comardelle and wife Judith, Gary Comardelle; brother, Josh Dufrene; sisters, Winnie McCully, Dessie Burson, Vonnie McBlair; grandchildren, Kelly and wife Carol Anne, Keith and wife Inga, Kevin and wife Jennifer, Jacob and wife Chantel, Gerald Comardelle; great grandchildren, Emily, Hailey, Isaiah and Faith Comardelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Comardelle; daughter-in-law, Betty Comardelle; parents, Pierre Dufrene, Jr. and Lucia Authement Dufrene; brother, Walter Dufrene; sisters, Annie Dufrene and Eula Dufrene.
