Walter Lee Griffin Jr., 75, a native of Robertsdale, Ala., and a resident of Raceland, died at 11:42 a.m. Monday Dec. 26, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Coteau Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Scoper Griffin; his son, Ricky and wife Mary Griffin; two daughters, Terry and husband Wendell Harwell and Roxanne Griffin; one brother, Bill "Butch" Griffin; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sr. and Chlodine Huffman Griffin; and one son, Ronnie Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coteau Baptist Church for the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
