Wallace Peter Landry, 76, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Monday, February 12th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Vedros Landry; children, Eric (Candace) Landry, Lauralee (Shane) Adams, and Holly (Cody) Dufrene; grandchildren, Taylor Adams, Jordan Landry, Bailey Adams, Caitlyn Landry, Brady Dufrene, and Riley Dufrene; brothers, Dave (Donna) Landry, and Gerald (Roxanne) Landry; sister, Carolyn Rousseau; devoted friend, Wayne Babin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Elizabeth Landry; brothers, Gary Landry, and Donald Landry.
Wallace was always self-employed first as an Acadia Dairy Milkman until the mid-1970’s, he then continued the family legacy as a Sugar Cane Farmer until the time of his retirement.
