Von Owen Bailey, 67, of Golden Meadow, passed away on August 21, 2021.
He enjoyed family, baseball, music and fishing and had a passion for cooking.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Lynn Chabert Bailey; his beloved mother Alice Bailey; his siblings, Alison Zuleger, Zona Brown, Vonda Bailey and Stanley and Kayla Bailey. His children Levon Bailey (Lena West), Bill and Lisa Chabert, Don Chabert, Crel and Chris Kramer, Callie and Carlo Cavazos and Tony Ray Bailey (Sarah) & Maleah Bailey. He had many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and countless friends that were near and dear to his heart.
He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Bailey and his brother in law John Zuleger “JZ” whom he loved to jam with as often as he could.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, on Thursday, August 26th at 10 am. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 am.
A service in Texas will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church at a later date.
