Viola LeBouef Lirette, 82, a native of Point aux Chene and resident of Raceland, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Visitation will be from held at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 31 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Viola is survived by her husband, Clark Lirette; son, Jesse Lirette (wife Michelle LeCompte); step children, Penelope "Penny" Freeman, Stephanie Lee, Cameolia "Cam" Meche (husband James), Arthur Lirette (wife Monica Plaisance); grandchildren, Samantha Lirette, Eugene Chessher (wife Leah), Sidney Chessher, Amanda Chessher (husband John Whittle), Phillip Lirette (wife Erica Graves), Roy Lirette, Marcus Lirette, James Edward Meche; great grandchildren, Celeia Chessher, Oliva Chessher, Brittney Whittle, Jessica Whittle, Sophie Lirette and Trystn Lirette and many grandpets.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry LeBouef Sr. and Camelia Naquin LeBouef; brothers, Alvin LeBouef, Allen LeBouef, Henry LeBouef Jr. and Norman LeBouef; grandchild, Michael Lirette.
She loved to make rosaries.
