Vincent P. Doucet, 85, a native and resident of Galliano, died on Saturday, January 23, 2016.
Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday and from 8 AM until 10:30 AM on Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Doucet (Kish), Wayne Doucet (Pam), Kenny Doucet, and Kevin Doucet and grandchildren, Kaylie, Vincent, and Emily Doucet.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Collins Doucet; son, Royce Doucet; parents, Julian and Elodie Rousse Doucet; grandchild, Lacey Doucet; brothers, Forest, Oris, Octave, Clarence, and Infant Doucet; and sisters, Armina Bychurch, Theresa Long, Ranza, Leonise, and Infant Doucet.
He was involved in various religious and civic organizations.
