Mrs. Vida is survived by her daughters: Karen Toups, Sandra Toups, Jodie T. Gautreaux, and Kelley T. Rodrigue (Kelly), grandchildren: Alice Bruce (Donald), James Rodrigue II, Chance Gautreaux, Zachary Rodrigue, great grandchildren: Donald Bruce, Creed Bruce, and Addison Bruce, sister: Evada Singletary and numerous nephews and neices.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Choir, enjoyed quilting, sewing, crossword puzzles, attending football games, and as many Mardi Gras parades as she could; most of all she loved spending time with her family: her girls, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the “adopted” family she had of her many years of babysitting
Her family would like to thank her nephew Danny Cheramie and his wife Julie (our special angel of mercy) for the loving care she received after they opened their home in Oklahoma to her due to Hurricane Ida and to Randry Dandry for driving her home so she could pass away peacefully in the comfort of her home.
Last, but not least, a special thanks to Julie Dubois, RN and Paul Duet, RN of Hospice of South Louisiana for their heartfelt and genuine care and compassion shown to our mother. They truly are Nursing from the Heart.
