Verna Breaux Touro

Verna Breaux Touro, 90, a native Grand Isle and a resident of Cut Off, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Lighthouse Worship Center, Galliano, LA. Religious services will at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Eddie Touro Jr. (Mary Ann); daughters, Marion Touro and Jeanie Smith; grandchildren, Eddie Touro III, Eric Touro Sr., Barry Plaisance Jr., Toby Plaisance, Andrew Touro Jr., Shawn Foret, Christopher Valotta, Mona Touro Navarre, Joy Billiot, Kimberly Touro Adams and Lauren Valotta Gullung; great grandchildren, Eddie IV, Madison, Mickayla, Mickenzi, Mickelle, Mickenna, Eric Jr., Derrick, Alyssa, Lexi, Terah, Tyke, Tia, Tylen, Lottie, Calie, Conley, Chevy, Andrew III, Madelyn, Emily, Sylas, Evelynn, Charlee, Angelina, Shawn Jr. and Shane and great-great grandchildren, Maribelle, Sloan and Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Touro Sr.; son, Andrew Touro Sr. (Rhonda); parents, Sidney and Jane Breaux; siblings, Gilbert, Bernice, Gertie, Grace and Patsy; grandson, Bobby J. Smith and great grandson, Edward Touro.
Verna’s enjoyment was taking care of her family. Her family was her life.
