Verna Callais Guidroz

Verna Callais Guidroz, 80, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Friday, July 22nd, 2022.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at the Lafourche Shriner’s Club at 215 East 93rd Street, Galliano, LA from 9:00 am until service time. Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to burial in Hebert Cemetery.

Mrs. Verna is survived by her children: Lisa (Hecton “White Ford”) Gisclair and C.J. (Rachel) Guidroz; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and brother: Guill Callais, Jr.

Mrs. Guidroz was preceded in death by her parents: Guill Callais, Sr. and El Rita Callais; and brother: Franklin Callais.

Mrs. Verna was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and recently received her 50-year pin. She enjoyed volunteering at her Church and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Verna’s name to the Golden Meadow United Methodist Church.
