Velma Marie Dupuy, 101, a native of Marksville and resident of Houma since 1959, died at 5:40 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her son, Nason and wife, Dorothy Dupuy; grandchildren, Patty and husband, Nolan Dolese, and Dwayne and Greg Dupuy; great-grandchildren, Corey and Courtney Dolese; and sisters, Nelva Dupuy and Lita Armond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winnie Dupuy; and parents, Emeric and Sedonia Chaufpied Guillot.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
