Velma Savoie Arceneaux

Velma Savoie Arceneaux, 95, a native and resident of Larose passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, January 17th from 11:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Vivian T.) Arceneaux, Anthony (Molly D.) Arceneaux, Thelma A. Neal, Robert (Adele F.) Arceneaux and Lucy A. (Rodney “Bay Bay”) Griffin; son-in-law, Dennis Viator; daughter-in-law, Brenda D. Arceneaux; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris P. Arceneaux; son, Roy J. Arceneaux; daughter, Ann A. Viator; parents, Arthur and Pauline Richoux Savoie; brothers, Rene, Luke, Nolan, Sylvester, Morris, Milton and Herman Savoie; sisters, Della S. Khron, Doris S. Boudreaux, Lou Emma S. Mobley, Rena Savoie and Maria Savoie.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be donated to the South Lafourche Relay for Life event in her memory.
