Usie Paul Verrette, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 8:37 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Mausoleum.
He is survived by his wife, Ediana Billiot Verrette; son, Durrelle and wife, Elizabeth C. Verrette; brother-in-law, Russell Guilliot; sister-in-law, Antoinette Carlos; grandson, Devin Verrette; granddaughter, Sarah Naquin; great-granddaughter, Danielle Watson; and brother, Acklen Verrette.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Nolia Dean Verrette; son, Lionel Verrette; niece, Orelia Bardwell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jimmy and Rosalie F. Billiot; brother, Julius Verrette Jr.; brothers-in-law, Roy Halford, Emile Billiot and Bob Carlos; and two sisters, Brunella Guilliot and Mary Halford.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
