Urtz Dillon Cheramie, age 60, a native of Galliano and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018.
Visitation will be held at St. Genevieve Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 2, from 8:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the church starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Urtz is survived by his wife, Pamela Duet Cheramie; children, Caren (Mac) Falgout, Bailey Boudreaux, Blake (Britney) Boudreaux, Bryce Boudreaux; 5 grandchildren, Miles and Maggie Falgout, MaCaylee Brown, Sawyer and Sage Boudreaux; sister, Daisy (Mike) Guidroz; niece, Emily (Jacob) Callais, great niece and nephew, Piper and Max Callais; father-in-law, Eddie Duet; mother-in-law, Pearl Ladelle Duet; brothers-in-law, Thomas "Tom" Duet (Bertha), Kenneth Duet (Dayna); sisters-in-law, Laurie Hervieu (Frank) and Donna Duet Gros.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances Cheramie and niece, Ellie Guidroz.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association, Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter; 11725 Industriplex Blvd. Suite 3, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
