Una Folse Vanacor

Una F. Vanacor, 85, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas “Tommy” Vanacor (Jennifer), Malcolm “Bum” (Kathy) Vanacor and Roddy Vanacor (Nicole); 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and sister, Azale Guillot.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Junius” Vanacor, Jr.; sons, Rachael “Ray” Vanacor and Bryan Vanacor, Sr.; parents, Gustave and Celine Folse, along with many sisters and brothers.
She was a prior member of the Red Hat Club and traveled with the Busy Bees.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Ormond Living Center and their full staff for the health care she received.
