Una Mae “Poochie” Boudreaux, 82, a resident of Lockport, passed away on April 29, 2020.
Poochie’s family will hold a memorial ceremony at a later date to celebrate her life.
She is survived by her brother, Bryon Bergeron; her three sons and their families: son, Randy Boudreaux; granddaughter, Mykah and husband Russell Carlisle and their son Max Carlisle; Grandson, Randy Boudreaux II and wife Candace Boudreaux and their children, Jaxton and Valek Boudreaux; step granddaughter, Audrey Sampey; grandson, Jarell and wife Tricia Boudreaux and their children, Knox Boudreaux and stepson, Landon Flice. Son, Chris Boudreaux and wife Lori Boudreaux; granddaughter, Kandice and husband Bradley Robinson and grandson, Kent Boudreaux. Son, Lonnie Boudreaux and girlfriend, Julie Roper; granddaughter, Tiffany Boudreaux and her children, Kodi Boudreaux and Peyton Boudreaux; granddaughter, Allie Boudreaux Downey and husband Jack Downey and their daughter Nikki Thibodaux; granddaughter (her loving devoted caregiver) Katie Boudreaux and daughter-in-law, LouAnna Boudreaux.
Poochie was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Paul Boudreaux; mother, Rita Bergeron; father, Abel Bergeron Sr.; brother, Abel Bergeron, Jr., and sisters, Elsie Plaisance and Betty Bourg.
She was a passionate collector of Coca Cola memorabilia, depression glass and antiques. She volunteers her time at the Holy Savior Social Ministry thrift store. She loved garage sales and flea markets. Her Sunday family dinners were an event that will long be remembered and missed by her family. She will always be loved and dearly missed by her family and friends.
