Una "Blackie" LeCompte, 82, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.She is survived by her sister, Vivian Champagne; sisters-in-law, Geraldine C. LeCompte and Mae LeCompte; nieces, Donna LeCompte, Tammy Malbrough and husband, Tommy, Penny LeBoeuf and husband, Brady, Rebecca Morgan and husband, Charles, Kathy Bretz, and Krista Bretz; nephews, Daniel LeCompte Jr. and wife, Angela, Mac Dumesnil, Philip J. Dumesnil and wife, Andrea, Bruce Champagne and wife, Miriam, Thomas Champagne and wife, Judy, Kyle Champagne and wife, Mary, Leanda Bretz, and Felix J. Bretz; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Joseph LeCompte Sr. and Felice Pitre LeCompte; brothers, Louis "Buster" LeCompte, Bruce LeCompte, and Felix Joseph "Crip" LeCompte Jr.; sisters, Rose L. Dumesnil, Veanel L. Bretz, and Mary LeCompte; and nieces, Deborah Corney, Anita LeCompte, Louise Dubroc, and Juanita C.
