Una Mae Adams Arceneaux, a native and resident of Raceland and a former resident of Bayou Blue, was born on May 7, 1925 and died on August 9, 2012.
Services will be held at St. Hilary of Poiters Catholic Church in Mathews at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time.
She is survived by one son, Terry J. Arceneaux and wife Judy Faucheaux Arceneaux, one daughter, Karen Arceneaux Matherne and husband Barry A. Matherne, four grandchildren, Nicholas J. Arceneaux and wife Keisa, Jessica Arceneaux Tanner and husband Derek, Ben Anthony Matherne, and Jesse John Matherne, four great grandchildren, Marcus John Arceneaux, Devin Avery Tanner, Genevieve Angelle Arceneaux, and Dirk Michael Tanner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse John Arceneaux, her parents, Clabert Adams and Irene Bergeron Adams, five brothers, Clemile Adams, Irvin Adams, Sr., Clifford Adams, Leroy Adams and Ernest Adams, six sisters, Selina Fournier, Julia Adams, Mildred Fambrough, Lucille Foshee, Leola Ferguson, and Ledora Grabert.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
