Ulysses Joseph Guidry

Ulysses J. Guidry, 79, a native of Leeville and a resident of Galliano, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margie Guidry; daughter, Rhonda (Popeye) Cheramie; grandchildren, Randy Jr., Blake, Casey, Nikki (Morgan), Ronnie Guidry, Macy (Grant) Rodrigue and Baley Cheramie; great grandchildren, Brayden, Jacelyn, Maverick Guidry, Noah Lefevbre and sisters, Glorine Pitre and Susie Eymard.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Randy Guidry and Andy (Lettie) Guidry; grandsons, Dax and Jessy Guidry; parents, Gustave Sr. and Ophelia Guidry; brothers, Gustave Jr., Percy, Dudley and James “Jimmy” Guidry; sisters, Claudia Gaspard, Perline Bruce, Virgie Hymel, Nancy Kiffe, Joyce Gaspard, Gloria Ayo and extended family, Roy Guidry, Stella Griffin and Yvonne Bible.
