Ulysse Joseph "Galic" Bonvillian, 74, a native of Houma and resident of Bayou Black, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Louis, Timothy, and Brian Bonvillian; two daughters, Shanna Verrett and husband, Curtis, and Kim Bergeron; two sisters, Shirley Theriot and Merle Savoie; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jetty Weaver Bonvillian; his parents, Rufus and Gertie Trahan Bonvillian; one brother, Louis Bonvillian; and one grandson, Curtis Verrett III.
He was a member of the National Guard.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
