Tyrus George Bulot, Jr.

Tyrus George Bulot , Jr., a native of Buras, LA and a resident of Thibodaux passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025 at the age of 87. George was born in Freeport, Texas. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Falgout Funeral Home, 3838 LA 1, Raceland , LA, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 followed by a memorial service. George loved to be with his family, working in his orange orchard, traveling and mowing his grass. He was retired from Shell Oil Company after 36 years of service and served in the Army in the early 60’s.

He is survived by his daughter, Sabra (Greg) Robichaux of Thibodaux, LA and son Dathan (Cathleen) Bulot of Indianola, NE; grandchildren Cody (Cori) Bulot, Janssen (Kristen) Robichaux, Arianna (Blake) Schouest, Shelby (Jordan) Holly, Tristan Bulot, Paul Robichaux, Matthew Robichaux; great-grandchildren Aiden Bulot, Thomas, Joseph, Parker, Breckin, Rhylan, Jameson, Lively Robichaux, Hunter Dampier, Axton, Bodhi, Crew Holly and Abigail Schouest. He is survived by his sisters Toni Newman (Paul), and Ruth Anne Morrison and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

George is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Anne Crawford Bulot, his parents Tyrus George Bulot, Sr. and Frances Virginia O’Donnell; brother Joseph Charles Bulot and sister in laws Rachel J. Bulot and Roberta “Doty” Robinson.
