Tommy Paul Cheramie

Tommy P. Cheramie, Sr., 73, a native of Galliano, LA and a resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia L. Cheramie; sons, Tommy P. “Pookie” Cheramie, Jr. (Marlo) and Ramey Davis Cheramie (Holly); grandchildren, Aaron Cheramie (Lauren), Gabrielle Cheramie (Taylor). Davis Cheramie, Mallory Cheramie and Gavin Cheramie; great grandchildren, Aubree and Colton Cheramie and Holden and Cooper Folse and brother, Larry Cheramie (Liz).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Leonise Cheramie; sister, Dorothy “Sue” Auseve and great granddaughter, Camryn Folse.

Tommy enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to his deer camp.
