Tina Marie Matherne Richard

Tina Marie Matherne Richard, 59, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Tina spent over 20 years working in both the medical field and insurance industry. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, fishing, crocheting, and making rosaries in her free time. She also loved music and dancing in her happy place.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Barry Henry Richard; son, Cameron Whitney Richard; mother, Joel Gaubert Matherne; brothers, Jody Matherne (Aline “Yogi”), Leslie Matherne (Marlo), Jamie Matherne (Susan); sister, Jeanine Matherne Benoit (Blake); nieces and nephews, Jackie Robichaux, Fr. John David Matherne, Kristen Charpentier, Grant Matherne, Noah Benoit and Hannah Benoit; great nephews, William Robichaux, Beau Charpentier and Henry Charpentier.

She was preceded in death by her son, Whitney Paul Richard; father, Clarence “Buck” Matherne, Jr. and great niece, Audrey Charpentier.
