August 26, 1967 — December 23, 2021

Timothy L. Long, 54, a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi and resident of Cut Off passed away on Thursday, December 23rd, 2021.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, December 31st, 2021 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 9:00 am until service time. His Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to his burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.

Mr. Timothy is survived by his wife of 24 years: Cathy E. Long; son: Christopher Long, daughter: Elizabeth L. Allen (Jordy), parents: Thomas “Tom” and Gloria H. Long; sister: Tara McAllister (Matthew); and canine companion: Bocephus.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8898 in Larose, a NCCER Master Trainer, a principal for many years and the first principal of the Career Magnet Center. He loved fishing and gardening and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Timothy’s family request donations in his name to the American Cancer Society and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
