Thomas Weldon Oubre, 72, a native of Loreauville and resident of Lockport, died Monday, May 9, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Chiasson Oubre; his mother, Eunice Oubre; one son, Telly Oubre; one daughter, Denise Oubre and companion, Cody Martinez; one brother, Ronald Oubre; one sister, Janette Dugas; two grandchildren, Gavin Oubre and Chelsey Carpenter; and one great-grandchild, Jacob Duet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Oubre.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and vice president of V.H. Boudreaux Senior Citizens Center, NRA.
