Thomas W. Braud, 66, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home in Luling, LA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cindy Rogers Braud; son, Landon Braud (Hallye); daughter, Jennifer Braud Hogan (Joby); grandsons, William and Wyatt Hogan; brothers, Blane Braud, Brian Braud (Rhonda), Gerald Braud (Cindy); sister, Hettie Braud Averite (Robert); brother-in-law; Marlin Rogers (Eileen); sister-in-law, Sue Rogers Hogan (Bryan); and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved son of the late Allen J. Braud and Sophie Mae Mongrue Braud of Luling, LA.
Thomas was a lifelong resident of Luling and parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was employed at W.S. Nelson for 34 years. He was an Eagle Scout and a Hahnville graduate in 1969.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
