Theresa N. Billiot

Theresa N. Billiot, 91, a native of Pointe aux Chenes and longtime resident of Galliano, passed away on November 5, 2023.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 9 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Theresa is survived by her five children; Irvin Billiot, Linda B. Kiffe (Edmond), Wanda B. Albrecht (David), Stacey B. Payton (Tim), and Ellen B. Ward (Kerry), 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Rose Danos and sister-in-law, Odelia Verdin.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband; Frank B. Billiot; parents; Levest Naquin and Cecile Billiot; brothers, Alex Dardar, Innerce Darda, Harris Dardar, Andrew Verdin, Aramise Naquin, Oliver Naquin, Harry Dardar, Jack Dardar, Milo Dardar and sisters, Edna Dantin, Angie Billiot and Rita Pitre.

Theresa was a Seamstress by trade, loved to cook for everyone and cleaned houses for a living. She will most be remembered by her love for Jesus but most especially how she shared that love with her family.

Thank you to the nurses, caregivers and staff at The Oaks Rehabilitation Home and Terrebonne General for the great care you showed to Theresa! Mom/Maw you will be missed!
