Theresa A. Armand

Theresa A. Armand, 85, a native of Marksville, LA and resident of Grand Isle, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, in Golden Meadow, on Wednesday, August 4th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial in the church cemetery.

Theresa is survived by her children, Robert Armand (Patty), Cynthia Lanasse (Hecton), Steven Armand, Kim Armand, Kenneth Armand (Jeanie), Monique Armand; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Descant, Ernest Descant; sisters, Judy Brennan, Dolores Reader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Armand; children, Ray Armand, Jackie Armand, Anita Armand; parents, Esnard and Onedia Descant; brothers, Eugene Descant, Newman Descant and sister, Diane Morlas.


Our dear sweet mother was a kind, loving and giving soul. She was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Our sweet mom was definitely the best in our eyes and truly the best “grandma” to her grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously by all who loved her.
