Thelma Griffin Schouest

Thelma G. Schouest, 88, a native of Leeville, LA and a resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.
Visitation will be from 8:30 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her sons, Russell Rebstock, Kelly Schouest and Kerry Schouest; daughters, Dedra Brunet and Lisa Schouest; brothers, Steve Griffin and Charlie Griffin; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Schouest; parents, Eumes Griffin Sr. and Liza Griffin; brothers, Eumes Griffin Jr. and Nolte Griffin and grandson Jace Brunet.
Thelma enjoyed dancing and playing Bingo.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
