Thelma Loupe Eschette, 91, a native and resident of Lockport passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2023 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
Thelma is survived by her children Keith (Cheryl) Eschette, Kurt (Nancy) Eschette, Kate (Joey) Plaisance, and Kern (Christine) Eschette; grandchildren Matt (Melissa) Eschette, Dixie (Jarred) Gautreaux, Heather (Chris) Rodrigue, Josie Plaisance (Owen), Kyle (Shelly) Eschette, Casey (Jason) Eschette, Kevin (Jennifer) Eschette, and Kaleb (Joshlyn) Eschette; and 12 Great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Eschette, her parents, Lezin and Anita Chiasson Loupe; siblings Maurice Loupe, Sr., Herman Loupe, Sr., Harris Loupe, Sr., Edwis Loupe, Alice Ledet, Aline Matherne, Ella Mae Zeringue, and Velma Zeringue.
