Thaddeus "Bud" Duplantis

Thaddeus “Bud” J, Duplantis; 94, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Visitation will be from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Houma, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am with burial to follow in St. Francis #2 Cemetery, Houma, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Danny Duplantis (Rissa) and Kirk Duplantis; daughters, Darlene Davis, Peggy Leonard and Lisa Ellender (Mike); grandchildren, Danielle Duplantis (Mark), Justin Davis (Hollyn), Tippi, Mike, and Slade Leonard, Chad Duplantis (Johnna), Jared Duplantis, Ashley Boudreaux (Nick), Jeffrey Ellender (Danielle), Michelle and Troy Eunice; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Breaux Duplantis; parents, Gilbert and Josephine Duplantis; daughter-in-law, Laura Donaldson Duplantis; son-in-law, James Kent Davis; grandchildren; Nicholas Thaddeus Duplantis and Sherry Eunice; brothers, Gable, Luke, Camille and Patrick Duplantis and sisters, Edith D. Eschete and Lydie D, Harris.
Bud loved camping, doing yardwork, gardening and going to church.
