Terry Paul "Big Terry" Pitre, 62, a native and resident of Houma, died at 2:48 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home with the rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Terry Authement; brother, Michael Pitre; and sisters, Mathilda Bertinot and Brenda Pitre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Justillian and Lena Bergeron Pitre; brothers, Roland, Henry, Eugene and Harry Pitre; and sisters, Betty Porter, Linda Steele and Gayle Dardar.
He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
