Sylvester James "Joe Joe" Curole, Jr., 46, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 24, 2011.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Falgout Funeral Chapel in Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Bradford Curole; one son, Kason Curole; one daughter, Megan Curole and fiancé Todd Boudreaux; one grandson, Kobi Curole; seven brothers, Jesse Curole, Frank Curole, Tommy Curole, Freddy Curole, Mathew Curole, Mark Curole and Brian Curole; two sisters, Brenda Hebert and Ella Curole; his mother, Leverta Curole; many nieces and nephews, and five godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tyson Curole; brother, Jimmy Curole; sister, Sylvia Curole; father, Sylvester Curole, Sr.
He worked for North American Shipyard for 15 years as a sandblaster/painter.
He enjoyed the outdoors especially being on the water. He was an excellent husband, father and grandfather.
