Sybil Gervais Pitre, 70, a native of Paradis and resident of Thibodaux, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Pitre and Benjy Pitre; one brother, Hubert Gervais Jr.; and three sisters, JoAnn Truxillo, Letsy Foret and Sandra Keller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Ray” Pitre; and her parents, Hubert Gervais Jr. and Lucia Martinez Gervais.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
