Steven Smith, 76, a native of Galliano and a resident of Lockport, died at 6:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Savior Catholic church in Lockport, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Lee Thibodaux Smith; one son, Jody Smith Sr. and wife, Jodi; one daughter, Angel Smith; eight grandchildren, Jade, Jody Jr., Justin, Janae Smith, Jason Jr., Rebekah, Brandon Landry and Cody Schultz; and one great-grandchild, Karsyn Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nevada and Landa B. Smith.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
