Sterling J. Dupont, age 79, a native and resident of Luling, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling from 9:00 until 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church starting at 11 am with burial to follow in Terrebonne Memorial Park Mausoleum in Houma.
Sterling is survived by his wife, Nancy A. Dupont; sons, Timothy John Dupont of Katy, TX and Anthony "Tony" Paul Dupont of Houma, LA; brother, Roy J. Dupont and grandchild, Jay Christopher Dupont.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul J. Dupont; mother, Bridgett Ponville Dupont; daughter, Jennifer Dupont; brother, Ralph J. Dupont; sisters, Antonia Normington, Gertrude Tippett, Adele Robichaux, Elaine Callahan and Marguerite Becnel.
Sterling was well loved, enjoyed life and will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
