Stephen Crovetto

Stephen M. "Coach" Crovetto went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2014. Age 63, a native of Westwego, LA and resident of Luling, LA. Beloved husband of Stacy Boudreaux Crovetto. Loving father of Stevie Michelle and Giuseppe Nolman Crovetto. Brother of Mary Coulon (Tim) and Julie Mire (Gary). Son-in-law of Nolan "Tom" and Carmen Boudreaux; brother-in-law of Bridget Boudreaux and Janine Pichon (David). He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyman C. and Vera Cassagne Crovetto. Also survived by a host of nephews, a niece, cousins, family and friends. Steve was a business owner, retired teacher and football coach, and served his community as a former St. Charles Parish School Board Member. His first passion was coaching where he touched many lives along the way, and he loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Lane in Luling, on Wednesday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 8:30-11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
