Soledad Pedreira Cheramie, 89, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 13th from 9:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Soledad is survived by her husband of 66 years, Labray J. Cheramie; sons, Kurt J. Cheramie and wife, Celeste H. Cheramie and Ken D. Cheramie and wife, Brandy D. Cheramie; grandchildren, Cory J. Cheramie and wife Mary and Jenna C. Cheramie; great-great grandchildren, Bowen J. Cheramie and Saylor M. Cheramie and sister, Carmen Pedreira.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Pilar Pedreira; brothers, Joe and Frank Pedreira and daughter-in-law, Yvonne V. Cheramie.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org in her honor.
