Simon J. Dempster, 88, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Darryl J. Dempster (Linda), Kurt J. Dempster (Lydia); daughter, Holly D. Dwyer (Andrew); daughter-in-law, Roslyn Dempster; grandchildren, Jade, Aimee, Derek, Amanda and Anthony; great grandchildren, Ava, Connor, Wes, Noah and Tate; brothers, Nolan Dempster and Landry Dempster and sisters, Ethel Sposito and Dolores Chiasson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Folse Dempster; son, Royce Dempster parents, Felicien and Clara Dempster; brothers, Mitchel, Melien, Dennis and John Dempster; sisters, Else Cortez, Thelma Tregle and Doris Trahan.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
