Sidney Joel Dejean

Sidney Joel DeJean, 71, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Life Fellowship Community Church, Bayou Gauche, LA. Religious services will be celebrated at 10:00 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Jordon DeJean (Kristine) and Cameron DeJean (Alyssa); daughter, Nichole DeJean; grandchildren, Jordon Jr., Kole, Mia, Kade, Karson, Chelsea and Trenton; sisters, Georgia DeJean, Leslie DeJean,. Lynell DeJean and Denise Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Doris DeJean.
Joel was the owner of Fisherman’s Wharf Bar. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, guns and knives. He cherished his family and friends and took great pride in his community.
